A Saturday in La Grange

This weekend was definitely a crazy one.We went to La Grange were some of Timmy's family lives and Elijah was in yet another baby contest. I know that it seems like were out of control with them but I PROMISE this is the only year he will be in them. According to Timmy he will not be a sissy boy. He placed second in Oldham County Fair... YEA!!!!! All of the kids had to be in swim attire, so Elijah looked like he just walked off the beach.

Elijah got his second haircut today, and he was such a big boy.

Also Elijah realized where his head is now so he walks around the house saying hea hea and hitting himself in the head. He keeps us laughing. He really is the best thing that has ever happened to Timmy and me. We love him so much!!!

We put Elijah in the Hardin County Fair Baby Contest and he WON!! Let me just tell you that it was a battle well won. Let me give you a timeline.
5:15 .. Show up for registration
5:45 .. Elijah is no longer being entertained
6:00 .. He starts crying
6:10 .. I try to make him happy (crying)
6:20.. Tammy tries to make him happy (still crying)
6:30.. Timmy tries to make him happy (still crying)
6:30 .. Contest starts (still crying)
7:00 .. Still VERY unhappy
7:30 .. Mom takes his shoes off and gives him some nachos, he's the happiest baby in the world.
7:45 .. I am no longer stressing out
8:00 .. Goes up and puts his charm on the judges
8:25 .. HE WINS

4th Of JULY

This was Elijah first real 4Th of July and he loved it. The whole time the fireworks were going off his eyes were wide open not wanting to miss anything. Every once in a while he would look at me or Timmy with a look of "are you seeing this dad?"
Elijah is growing like crazy. He is running around everywhere and definitely keeping me and Timmy on our toes. We wouldn't have it any other way.

He found a new friend. This dog was huge and Elijah just walked right up to him and wanted to sit on him. I tell you, he isint scared of nothing.
Then of course he had to give him a kiss.
